Dusty images from a hot and dusty day.
There was a puppy at this wedding!
I never know what to expect when I show up as a second shooter - and I kind of love it. My job is really to be ready for anything and complement TJ's work - with a side of keeping the groomsmen in line. So while there was so much to love about this wedding (the bride's hair, the LOCATION!!!, all the beautiful details)... I keep coming back to their sweet dog who joined the celebration during cocktail hour and spent the rest of the night tucked close to Katelyn and Thomas.
I have to make a disclosure with this blog post - I'm completely biased about Remy & Keith and how wonderful their wedding was. Remy and I met many years ago when I worked for her mom, and last summer she played a (successful) game of match-maker for me and my guy. To say this is my favorite wedding of the year is easy, thanks to the personal and heartfelt connection.
Remy & Keith. This wedding had all the good stuff. The day flowed seamlessly between thoughtful and celebratory, guided by beautiful music. Their families and bridal party walked into the church to a stunning version of Ava Maria, and Remy and her father were announced down to aisle to a BOOM of the traditional bridal march. The reception at Trentadue Winery was filled with bright decorations and several areas to encourage conversations and cheer among the guests. They ended the night with a dance surrounded by their families and closest friends, an indication of the love and support that Keith very graciously acknowledged in his toast.
My favorite part of the day was when the officiant said "Remy, every time I see you, you're smiling! Keith, how lucky you are to have a smiling wife." A simple note about how they are together - smiling, laughing, Remy with her big personality, with Keith as her constant support.
Cheers to you and your amazing day and so much happiness ahead!
